No matter whether you buy or sell on eBay - after each auction you can give a rating for your trading partner. In this practical tip, we show how this works afterwards.
Submit rating on eBay
You can rate purchases and sales on eBay up to 60 days after the auction ends. In this way, you can recommend the buyer or seller or describe problems that occurred during the purchase.
- To do this, open the eBay website and click on "My eBay" in the top right corner.
- In the dropdown menu select the entry "Summary" and log into your eBay account.
- Then click either "Purchase Summary" or "Sold" in the "Sell" section, depending on which auction you want to rate.
- Next to every completed eBay auction you will find a column on the right with further options. Click on the link "Submit rating".
- You can then rate the buyer or seller positively, neutrally or negatively, assign stars and leave a short comment. Note that you cannot change a rating once it has been submitted - so think carefully about how you rate your contractual partner.
- Tip: Open this eBay page in your browser and you will receive an overview of all transactions in the last 60 days that you have not yet rated.
