eBay Buyer Protection - when does it apply?
The online auction house supports the eBay buyer protection. You have warranty claims if the article does not correspond to the actual description or does not arrive at all. You can also contact customer service if you have any other problems with an item if discussions with the dealer were unsuccessful.
- In general, buyer protection covers all items that you can receive by post. For example, this does not apply to services, vehicles or intangible goods. Important: Even airline tickets, vouchers or custom-made products, such as tailor-made wedding dresses, are not covered by buyer protection.
- Buyer protection applies to all items that you pay via credit card, direct debit and PayPal. If you order from sellers with an "eBay guarantee", the protection even applies to all payment methods.
