Change levels at Gimp - how it works
Here we show you how you can change the layers in the image editing program "Gimp" and move them in any order.
How to change levels in Gimp
- Open your project in "Gimp" where you want to change or move the levels.
- "Gimp" usually comes with the docked "Toolbox" and "Layers" windows.
- If you cannot see the windows, open them via the "Windows"> "Dockable dialogs"> "Layers" tab.
- You will then find the individual levels of your project listed.
- You create new levels via the tab "Level"> "New level ...".
- By selecting it with a left click, you switch to the level and you can edit it.
- Select the level with a left click and keep the button pressed. You can now move them between the other levels and thus change the order.
- To hide or show a layer, simply click on the eye symbol.
