Call Eclipse: Error Log - Here's how
To find errors in the programming tool Eclipse, the program creates an error log. We'll show you where to find the log file here.
Call the error log in the Eclipse programming environment
These instructions refer to Eclipse 4.6 Neon.
- Start Eclipse on your computer.
- Go to "Window" at the top of the tab.
- Here is the sub-item "Show View" from which you can access "Error Log".
- Alternatively, the error log also opens if you press the key combination [ALT] + [Shift] +] + [Q] and then select the key [L].
- The error messages then appear on the right-hand side. You can see the details by double-clicking.
