Boil eggs hard: with this recipe, they succeed perfectly
If you want to cook eggs hard, it can quickly become a small science. In this practical tip, we will tell you how long which eggs need to become soft, wax-soft or hard.
Instructions: Cook eggs hard and soft
The cooking time of the eggs depends primarily on their size. The following times apply to size M eggs. Size S eggs take around 30 seconds less and size L eggs take around 30 seconds longer.
- Soft: After 4 minutes, the egg whites are sufficiently stocked, but the egg yolk is still completely liquid. This cooking time is completely sufficient for a breakfast egg.
- Wax-soft: If your eggs are a little harder, you should cook them for 7 minutes. The egg yolk is now firm, but still very soft. If necessary, you can also cut the egg.
- Hard: After 11 minutes you get a hard egg. Both the egg whites and the egg yolks are now hard. In this state, you can store the eggs refrigerated for several days.
