Find out your own landline number - so it'll work
If you don't know your landline number, you can find it out with a simple trick. We show you how this works in this practical tip.
How to find out your own landline number
If you haven't remembered your own landline number, that's pretty annoying. Therefore we show you how you can do it with a little trick:
- Call another person or your own cell phone via the landline. Your phone number is shown on the display and you can practically copy the number.
- If the trick does not work because the number is suppressed, proceed as a Telekom customer as follows: Lift off, dial "* 31 '" without quotes and the number you want to reach. Your number is then deciphered again.
- If this does not work, your phone number is probably permanently suppressed. If you cannot find the landline number in your contract or via a statement, you should contact customer service.
