Insert a section of a page in Word - here's how!
To separate elements such as headers and footers, you need to insert page sections in Word. You can find out how to do this in this practical tip.
Set page sections in Word
- Open the "Page layout" workspace in MS Word.
- Click on the menu item "Breaks". You can find it in the "Page Setup" area.
- Under the heading "Section breaks" you will find a selection in which you can insert page sections: For example, select "Next page", insert a section break and start a new page section on the next page.
- Alternatively, you can insert page sections on even or odd pages or continuously on the current page.
