Easy to read - font for dyslexics
As a dyslexic, you can make reading easier with a special font. This can be easily used on various devices and browsers - how it works.
Font for dyslexics: "Open Dyslexic"
The letters of the special font "Open Dislexic" (free and open source) are easier to recognize for dyslexics. What is special: The lower half of the letter is particularly thick and somewhat darker. This makes it easier to distinguish the characters.
- Here you can download the font for free and insert it under Windows in the file path C: \ Windows \ Fonts. Instructions for Mac OS can be found here.
- As an extension "Open Dyslexic" is currently available for Safari, Google Chrome and Opera.
- On iPad and iPhone, you can only use the font after a jailbreak, or alternatively switch to the "OpenWeb" browser.
- Incidentally, Open Dyslexic is also automatically available in italics, bold and bold italics.
