Configure settings for Aldi Talk Internet-Flat
In many cases, you have to change the settings for your Aldi-Talk-Internet-Flat manually, otherwise you will have no connection. How exactly that works and which settings and numbers belong in which input field is not self-explanatory. We have therefore collected the right settings for you.
Aldi Talk Flat: Make settings online
This setting is important for all Aldi-Talk customers with a flat rate:
- In the settings for automatic charging, the lowest option "Under 5 euros" must not be activated.
- Because if your credit is between 5 euros and 7.98, the price for the flat cannot be debited. The consequence: Aldi Talk cancels your flat and you use the normal tariff. This can quickly become very expensive.
- It is therefore best to select "at the beginning of the month" under "automatic top-up"
Find Internet settings for the ALDI TALK flat rate
The first thing you need to do is access the Internet settings on your smartphone. Depending on whether you use Android or iOS, you will find them in different places. Usually the flat rate settings can be found in the following menus, but the paths can also vary depending on the operating system version. Illustrated instructions for Android and for iOS are available as PDF on the Aldi Talk website.
- Under Android: "Settings - Wireless and Network - Mobile Networks - Access Points - E-Plus Internet" or in newer versions "Settings - More ... - Mobile Networks - Access Points - E-Plus Internet".
- Under iOS: "Settings - General - Network - Mobile data network".
The right settings for the Aldi Talk Internet
At this point you will find numerous options with which you can set up your internet flat rate. However, only three of the settings are important. If these are set up incorrectly, your flat rate is useless or you are surfing at a slower speed. These are the correct values that Aldi Talk specifies:
- Access point / APN: internet.eplus.de
- Username: eplus
- Password: Internet (if this doesn't work, try "gprs").
