Delete individual pages from a Word document - so it'll work
Deleting individual pages from a Word document is quick and easy - at least if you follow our instructions.
Easily delete a page in the Word document
Basically, you delete a page in Word by deleting its content. If you want to check at the same time whether the deletion was successful, proceed as follows:
- Open the Word document in the page layout. If your document is displayed in the page layout, the middle screen icon is highlighted in dark blue in the status bar at the bottom of the screen. To activate the page layout, click on this symbol or select the entry »Page layout« in the »View« tab.
- Use the slider in the status bar to zoom out until you can see all the pages of your document.
- With the left mouse button pressed, mark the entire content of the page you want to delete.
- Remove this page with the [Del] key. You can see immediately whether your action was successful. The new page number of your document is now also shown in the status bar.
Word 2013 was used for these instructions. If the formatting of your document is problematic, you should "delete the complete formatting in Word".
