The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim: The five best Easter Eggs
Apart from countless quests and items, some Easter eggs found their way into the role-playing epic "Skyrim". We present the five best in the following practical tip.
5. "Pacman" on Endon's shelf
In Endon's house, located in the western town of Markarth, there is a shelf in the back of the room. Inside are cheese, glowing dust and garlic. So not really worth mentioning - the arrangement of the items on the shelf would not be reminiscent of a scene from the classic game "Pacman".
4. Leonidas wolf killing from "300"
In the film "300", the young Leonidas is sent alone into the wild and kills a wolf there with a spear. Based on this, you will find a skewered saber-toothed tiger between two rocks in "Skyrim" south of the "Shrine of Peryite".
3. King Arthur's Sword: The Excalibur
In the "rebel grave" far east of Markarth you will find a sword that is stuck in a stone like Excalibur from the Arthurian legend. In the narrative, the Excalibur is the sword of King Arthur. Unfortunately, the Skyrim counterpart is just an ordinary steel sword with no special value.
2. Little revenge on the Minecraft inventor
At the summit of the highest mountain of "Skyrim", the "neck of the world", a pickaxe is stuck in an Ebenerzader. The Easter Egg only works in English, because there the tool is called "Notched Pickaxe". "Notch" is the inventor of "Minecraft", in which the pickaxe is extremely important. This was preceded by a dispute over naming rights between Bethesda and the Minecraft inventor.
1. The headless rider
At night a headless ghost roams the streets on his horse. If you are lucky, you will meet him. Then you should follow the headless rider, as he will ultimately lead you to the "Hamvirs Rast" ruin. Once there you fight against some skeletons and are rewarded with a master chest for your efforts.
