First information about The Elder Scrolls 6

At E3 2018, Bethesda officially confirmed that The Elder Scrolls 6 is not just a long-standing fan request, but is definitely being developed.

• However, a release date is not yet known.
• The game is already being planned, but the development work is far from over.
• The exact planning and development of the new part will only begin after all current Bethesda projects have been completed - including two larger games as well as some conversions for the Nintendo Switch and the mobile area.
• The development of TES6 can therefore only be expected in a few years, which will then also take several years. So fans can be sure that the series will continue, but they still have to be patient.

Setting and storyline - speculation about The Elder Scrolls 6

Despite the fact that so far little information is known, a lot can be suspected for the sixth part of The Elder Scrolls:

• Tamriel is divided into different regions. Already in The Elder Scrolls: Arena you could see a map on which these are drawn.
• The areas High Rock, Hammerfell, Vvardenfell, Morrowind, Cyrodiil and Skyrim are already known from the previous parts.
• Regions that have not previously been seen in The Elder Scrolls are, for example, the southern countries of Valenwood, Elsweyr and Black Marsh (Argonia) as well as individual areas of Morrorwind.
• The working title for TES6 at Bethesda is "Project Greenheart" - this is a city in Valenwood. So it does not seem unlikely that this will be the setting for the upcoming role-playing adventure.
• However, there is still no information about the plot. However, should The Elder Scrolls 6 really play in Valenwood, the Bosmer (forest elves) will likely play a major role as this is their home.
