Emergency 5: the best tips
In this article we show you the best tips for the Emergency 5 rescue simulation.
Tip 1: Use the mini map of Emergency 5 correctly
- In the top right you can see a list of all current orders in Emergency 5. Click on the 'Radar' icon to the left of the name to jump to the site.
- Jumping from site to site is much faster than scrolling on the map.
- Especially with particularly large-scale tasks, you should zoom far into the map with the '+' symbol. This way you have a better overview of the area of application and see exactly where individual units are located.
- When you call a new vehicle from headquarters, you can roughly place it by right-clicking on the mini map. This is faster and, luckily, the vehicle gets a few traffic light phases earlier.
Tip 2: Leave reserve vehicles at headquarters
- The headquarters are usually pretty central on the map. All locations can therefore be reached relatively quickly.
- Do not call all emergency vehicles for an order. For example, leave at least one emergency doctor at headquarters so that they can go to another location in an emergency.
- An exception to this is the ambulance, of which you will need one for each victim.
- You do not need reserve vehicles in large-scale operations. In theory, you can call all emergency vehicles. However, the vehicles usually get in each other's way.
Tip 3: plan ahead in Emergency 5
- A secret to success in Emergency 5 is always to expect the worst and to be prepared accordingly. With more gaming experience, you get to know the missions better and know how individual missions can degenerate. Use it to your advantage.
- For example, if you have a defective switch box, also send an emergency doctor. Passersby could get an electric shock.
- Set the right priorities. A cared for injured person does not have to be towed as urgently as a fire has to be extinguished.
- Fire in particular must be extinguished as quickly as possible, otherwise it will spread in all directions. So spread the firefighters around the fire. Extinguishing with a fire hose is much more efficient than with a fire extinguisher.
