This is how the emoticons come in texts and messages
If you want to use the freshly activated emoticons, open any app using the standard keyboard. These can be Apple's own apps such as "Notes" or "Messages", but also, for example, "WhatsApp", "Facebook" or your email program.
- You will now see a globe symbol to the left of the spacebar. If you keep this symbol pressed, a list appears with all activated keyboards.
- Now click on "Emoji". A menu opens that not only offers you emoticons in the strict sense - i.e. smileys - but also a variety of symbols and special characters.
- With one click you can insert the emoticons into your texts. You will be shown the same everywhere in iOS. However, there may be different representations in e-mail programs.
