When inserting a new mouse, it may be necessary to adjust the sensitivity of the mouse. The sensitivity of the mouse is always a matter of habit and is therefore set differently by each user. We will show you how to adjust the mouse according to your needs.
Windows 7, 8, 10: Set mouse sensitivity
- Open the Control Panel and select the category "Hardware and Sound".
- Then click on "Mouse" under "Devices and Printers" so that another window opens.
- Go to the "Pointer Options" tab above and you will find the "Movement" category there.
- Here you can adjust the sensitivity of the mouse according to your needs.
- With the button "OK" your settings are accepted. The sensitivity can be changed again at any time.
Set the sensitivity of the mouse under Windows XP
- Open the [Control Panel] in the start menu and select the category [Printers and other hardware].
- In this category, click on [Mouse].
- A window opens with the name "Mouse Properties". To set the sensitivity of the mouse, click on the [Pointer option] tab.
- Simply move the lever under "Movement" to change the sensitivity of the mouse.
