Connect the amplifier to the battery - that's how it works
You should properly connect your new power amplifier to the battery so that it also works. In this practical tip, we will tell you how to do this.
Connect the hi-fi power amplifier correctly to the car battery - so it'll work
- We recommend that you place the power amplifier in the trunk of your car.
- Before starting work, you should disconnect the car's battery as a precaution.
- Start by laying the red (plus) cable from the battery to the trunk. You can use adhesive tape for fixing.
- The black (minus) cable is the shortest route to the body and is also fixed with adhesive tape.
- Then lay the chinch cable with the remote line directly from the amplifier to the car radio and connect it there.
- To avoid noise, you should lay this cable on the other side of the car.
- Then connect the plus cable to the 12V or + connection. The minus cable is connected to the GND or connection.
- The remote cable connects to the remote or RMT connector. You can then connect and lay the boxes in the car.
