Bridge power amplifier - you have to consider that
Before you can bridge a power amplifier, you should note a few points. Read in this practical tip what exactly is important.
Bridge power amplifier - you have to consider that
- First check whether the power amplifier can also be bridged. You can recognize this by the "Bridgeable" note on the amplifier.
- Then take a look at your amplifier. This can have two or four channels. There are different ways of doing this.
- If you have a two-channel amplifier, connect the speakers to the power amplifier with a cable. The black cable should be in the last, while the red cable should be in the first connector.
- With the four-channel amplifier, connect the first speaker using the red cable in the first and the black cable in the last connector of the first block.
- Connect the second loudspeaker in the second block in the same way as described above.
- If you need further support, contact a local specialist dealer. You should also consult this if you are not sure.
In the next practical tip, we will show you how to set your amplifier correctly.
