Juicing without a juicer: This is how it works without a juicer
Juice your fruits easily without a juicer. Fresh juices are particularly popular in summer. If you want to make fruit juices yourself on a permanent basis, your own juicer is convenient, but not absolutely necessary.
How to juice without a juicer
Don't have a juicer on hand? Then simply juice with a blender. This method is particularly suitable for most medium-sized fruits.
- First wash the fruit. Depending on the variety, you will have to peel it and then cut it into small pieces.
- If there are fruits that turn brown quickly, you should add vitamin C or lemon juice. This will slow down the oxidation.
- Put the fruits in a blender. After about a minute, the fruits have a musky consistency.
- Take the handkerchief or a tea towel and pour the mass into it. Then squeeze the juice into a bowl and fill it into bottles.
Juice soft fruit
You can easily juice soft fruits with a fine cloth by hand. It is particularly easy with berries.
- Wash the berries and put them in a fine cloth.
- Beat the cloth together and squeeze the juice out of the fruit by turning the cloth.
Juicing with a saucepan
Harder fruit and some types of vegetables are best juiced in a household saucepan. Here's how to do it:
- Wash the fruit here first and cut it into small pieces.
- Put fruit or vegetables in a saucepan and cover the bottom with water about finger height.
- Place the pot on the stove and let everything boil with a lid on low heat for about 20-30 minutes. This makes the fruit and vegetables softer and easier for you to juice.
- If fruits and vegetables are soft, squeeze them out using a handkerchief. Now either fill the juice or enjoy it directly.
