Epic Games: Redeem game codes - how it works
Redeeming a code at Epic Games enables you to activate the corresponding game. It doesn't matter whether you have it from a box version or only as a key. Here are two methods you can use to redeem the keys.
Epic Games: Redeeming code made easy
As a player, Epic Games offers you two ways of redeeming a code. Proceed as follows:
- Via the website: If you have not yet downloaded or installed the Epic Games launcher, redeem the code via the redemption page provided.
- Log in with your account data and write the code (format: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) in the space provided.
- Via the launcher: Click on your user name in the launcher and select the "Redeem code" command in the menu.
- Now an input field appears and you can redeem the code there. After that, you can download and play games like Metro: Exodus right away.
