Upload ebooks via Google Play Books
With the pre-installed Play Books app, you can upload your own PDF and ePub files directly from your smartphone to Google. In addition to your books purchased in the Play Store, you can save up to 1000 eBooks online.
- Download the free "Google Play Books" app here. (The application is preinstalled on most smartphones.) For the iPhone / iPad version, click here.
- Open the app and go to Settings. Optional: Check "Enable PDF uploading".
- Now select the desired ePub or PDF file from the download folder or the Gmail app.
- Then tap on the menu item "Upload to Play Books" and confirm with "Only once".
- After uploading, you will find files in the app under "My Books".
Upload books via Google Books website
You can also upload your own eBooks on the Google Play Books website:
- Go to the Google Play Books website and click on the blue button "Upload files" in the top right corner.
- Select the PDFs and ePubs you want.
- The upload starts automatically. You will then find the eBooks under "My Books".
