You can use your Google Home to not forget appointments. When you add reminders to your voice assistant, you have your calendar under control.
Add reminders on Google Home - Here's how
To create and use reminders on Google Home, the device must be fully set up. Read more in this article: Set up Google Home correctly.
- You can create either time-based or location-based reminders. However, the last ones are only displayed on your mobile phone.
- Just say "Hey Google, create a reminder" and Google Home will ask you for any details that you can gradually add.
- To make it faster, you can execute the command completely in the first sentence.
- To create a time-based reminder, say, "Hey Google, remember this at." Under "Date" you can use a specific date, day of the week or a certain frequency such as "every day".
- For a location-based reminder, you need to link what you want to be reminded to the location you want: "Hey Google, Remind me> Task>".
Manage reminders on Google Home
Sometimes you don't want to be reminded of created appointments and delete them entirely.
- Just ask your Google Home if you have any memories. You can explicitly ask for a specific date or task. If you want to know upcoming reminder, ask about all reminders of the month or year.
- You can also use the same commands to delete one or more reminders. You can delete the reminder for a specific date, time, task, or all reminders.
