eSATA to USB 3.0 - so it'll work
For example, if you want to connect your external hard drive with USB 3.0 connection to your PC via eSATA, you can do this in several ways. We'll show you how it's done.
Transfer eSATA to USB 3.0 using an adapter
- You can get the eSATA USB 3.0 adapter from NewerTech for around 33 euros. This allows you to easily connect external ESATA devices to your USB port on the PC.
- Please note that the maximum speed is reduced from 6.0 Gbit / s to 3.0 Gbit / s via the adapter. USB and eSATA cables are not included.
- The other way around, the transfer also works: The following USB 3.0 eSATA adapter costs around 18 euros and connects USB 3.0 devices with an eSATA connection.
