Create labels with OpenOffice - how it works
With OpenOffice you can create labels in just a few steps. They are not only suitable for jam jars, but also save annoying paperwork and lots of time for addresses, especially in the office.
Create labels in OpenOffice
If you want to print a large number of labels again and again, the following procedure will help you:
- In OpenOffice click on "New"> "Labels" in the top left.
- In the new window, type your inscription, for example an address, in the text area. For the correct address format, check the box next to "Address".
- You can get an entire sheet by activating "Sheet" below and selecting a type that suits your format. Depending on the selection, the dimensions appear for checking at the bottom of the window.
- Alternatively, you can set the dimensions manually under the "Format" tab. For several labels on one sheet, you can also change the number of columns and rows. Click on "Save".
- You set up the printer using the "Add-ons" tab and can only print a single label if required.
- With a click on "New Document" you finally create your label sheet.
Our office tip: OpenOffice can also create forms in just a few steps, as we show in another article.
