Evernote: merge notes - how it works
In this practical tip, we will show you how to merge your notes in Evernote.
Here's how to merge your notes into Evernote
- First select the notes you want to merge. In Windows, hold down the [Ctrl] key and click on the relevant notes. On the Mac, you do this by clicking on the relevant entries while holding down the [Cmd] key.
- In the Notes view, the selected notes now appear as small preview images (see screenshot). Click on "Merge" here to merge the different notes into one.
- Note that the original notes are automatically moved to the trash when they are merged. On Windows and the web version of Evernote, the new note will have the same title as the note you selected first. On Mac, the title of the last edited note is selected.
