Everquest 2: classes at a glance
Everquest 2 has a variety of classes. You can find out what these are and how you play them in this practical tip.
The 4 upper classes of the MMORPG Everquest 2
In Everquest 2 you can choose from 26 classes at the beginning. These can be classified into 4 different categories:
- Priest: As in other role playing games, there are healers in Everquest. The priestly classes do justice to this role. They strengthen the group with healing spells, but do little to no damage.
- Fighters: The fighter classes are there to be beaten up for the group. They catch the damage so that the others don't die. You do little damage with a fighter class.
- Scouts: You play the scout classes very differently. While some classes are there to do as much damage as possible, other classes help the group do more damage. This gives you the choice between a damage dealer or supporter.
- Magician: The magician classes can also be divided like the scouts. While one part deals out brute damage, the other part makes this damage even greater. As a magician, you are usually in the background and try to get as little damage as possible.
