Excel: Determine working days with the "net working days" function
Thanks to the "net working days" formula, you can use Excel to calculate your working days. In this guide we show you step by step how exactly this works.
Determine working days in Excel with "net working days" - so it'll work
- First enter your start of work in a field (see picture).
- In the field below, enter the time when you finished working.
- Now use the function "= NET WORKING DAYS" and enter the two fields with your working days.
- Excel will then automatically calculate your working days and output them.
- Note that Excel does not know public holidays. You must then define these separately and specify them at the end of the formula.
