Excel: Show print margins - how it works
If you want to see where the page margins are in Excel before printing, you can show them with the right function. We'll show you how it's done.
Excel: Show print margins
- If you only want to display the page margins once, switch to the "Page layout" tab and click on the "Page margins" button in the "Page setup" category.
- To permanently display the margins, click the "File" tab in the top left and select the "Options" below.
- Go to "Advanced" on the left and search for the category "Show options for this worksheet".
- Activate the option "Show page breaks" and close the window with "OK".
