Excel: copy formulas
This guide explains how you can copy formulas in Excel.
Copy formulas in Excel - this is how you proceed
Note: These instructions refer to Excel 2013.
- To copy a formula in Excel, first select the cell in which the formula to be copied is located.
- Select the "Start" tab at the top of the screen and click "Copy" underneath.
- Left-click the cell where you want to insert the formula. Under "Start" click on the arrow below the point "Insert".
- Select the "Formulas (F)" option under "Insert".
- You can find more detailed settings for inserting your formula by clicking on "Insert content" under "Insert". Here you can insert the formula including formatting or just the value of the cell.
