Excel: Remove spaces - so it'll work
Here we show you how to remove annoying spaces from your Excel document.
Delete spaces from Excel files
- Call up the document in Excel in which you want to remove the spaces.
- Press the shortcut [Ctrl] + [F] on your keyboard.
- The "Find and Replace" window opens.
- Enter a space in the "Search for:" line.
- Leave the line "Replace with:" blank.
- If you want to remove all spaces at once, click on the "Replace all" button.
- On the other hand, if you only click on "Replace" you can determine which spaces you want to keep in the document by clicking on "Find Next" and which ones you do not want.
You can then insert your Excel spreadsheet in Word and edit it further. This tip works with all versions of Excel from 2003 onwards.
