Excel: Write vertically - how it works
In Excel you can not only write horizontally, but also vertically. We show you how to do this in this guide.
Write vertically in Excel - so it works
- First open Excel and the respective document or workbook.
- Right-click the cell in which you want to write vertically. Then select the "Format cell" item.
- Go to the "Alignment" tab. Here you can set the incline in degrees. Set this to "-90 °" or "90 °" to write vertically in the cell.
- Close the window by clicking "OK". Now you can write vertically in this line.
