In this guide, we explain how to subtract in Excel.
Subtract in Excel
- Open Excel and enter a value in two cells. Then you have to click in the cell in which the result should be.
- Next, enter an equal sign followed by an open bracket (see picture).
- Now click with the mouse on the cell with the minute end (the number from which something is subtracted).
- Then enter a minus sign.
- Then select the cell of the subtrahender (the number that is subtracted).
- Now press [Enter] and you will see the result.
