Data is not sorted correctly - what to do?
If you do not sort the data correctly within one year, you should check the format of the respective cells. Make sure that the correct date format is set. Here's how.
- In such a case, mark the respective cell.
- Under "Start" in the menu bar you will find the format of the cell in the "Number" area. Depending on the format, you should select "Date, short" or "Date, long".
- Alternatively, right-click on the cell and select "Format Cell".
- Here you select the "Date" category on the left and select the appropriate date type.
- Sorting should now work properly.
