Excel: add times
This guide shows you how to add times in Excel.
Add times in Excel - how it works
Please note that these instructions refer to Excel 2013.
- Select the corresponding cells in which the times are located and select the "Format cells" option with the right mouse button.
- Click on "Custom" under the "Numbers" tab. Enter type "[hh]: mm" without quotation marks.
- You can then add the times using the command "= A1 + B1 + ..." or by entering "= SUM (A1; B1; ...)". Simply replace "A1" and "B1" with the designation of the corresponding cells.
