Remove Exif information using on-board equipment
Windows has an inherent function to remove Exif data.
- Right click on the image and select "Properties" from the context menu.
- Go to "Details" in the tab. Below is the blue text "Remove properties and personal information".
- In the next window you can choose whether you want to remove all properties or only remove individual information.
- Finally, click OK". This should remove the Exif data.
Remove Exif data using a tool
If you want to delete a lot of Exif data, a program like the "Exif Tag Remover" is the better choice.
