Start Explorer manually using command line commands - how it works
You can also start Explorer manually from the command line, for example if it can no longer be opened in the taskbar. Our instructions show you where and how to enter the command.
Start Windows Explorer with a command
- First press the key combination [Windows] + [R] to start the command line.
- Then enter either "Explorer" or "Explorer.exe". Both commands then start Explorer.
- If the Explorer does not open, press [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Del] select "File"> "New Task" and enter "explorer.exe"
