Facebook: Call to Action - what is it?
The "Call to Action" button has been available to everyone on Facebook since 2015. We'll tell you what it actually is and how the new function works.
Call to action: what can the new Facebook button do?
- There is a new button function behind "Call to Action". Operators of a Facebook page, such as CHIP on Facebook, can individually assign a button on the front page.
- This "Call to Action" button is right next to the "Like" button. The operators can choose between the following functions: Book now, Contact us, Use app, Play, Shop now, Register, Play video.
- The button can then be connected to any link on the Internet. So you can put a link to the App Store behind the button "Use app". The links can both point to Facebook and leave Facebook.
Call to Action on Facebook: Benefits for companies
- Dollar Shave Club was one of the first to try out the Call to Action button on their Facebook page. The company chose the "Register" button.
- According to its own statements, the Dollar Shave Club was able to win 2.5 more new customers in the first three weeks via the Facebook button than with other measures.
- Thanks to its highly visible placement, the personalized button can be used for a wide variety of purposes. No matter how you use the button, the new function cannot harm you.
