End Facebook friendship

Every now and then you may want to end your friendship with a Facebook contact. However, the function is not visible at first glance - here's how.
End friendship with a Facebook contact
Ending a friendship on Facebook's desktop website isn't as complicated as it seems:
- Go to the friend's profile you want to delete.
- Click on the small gear to the right of the name (see screenshot).
- Click on "Remove as friend ..." and confirm the following message.
