Facebook: Delete imported contacts
On Facebook you can delete either individual contacts or all imported contacts. This practical tip explains how to remove all of your imported contacts from other Facebook accounts.
Remove imported contacts from Facebook
If you use Facebook with other accounts, such as For example, if you have synchronized your email account, your contact list on your smartphone or your Skype account and imported contacts from them, you can search for and remove them individually on Facebook. However, this method is quite cumbersome. You can also delete all imported contacts at once or individually using a tool.
- Please note that you are not canceling invitations to Facebook. However, you can delete the contacts so that no invitation reminders are sent to them in the future.
Delete all imported contacts in Facebook
- First log in to Facebook with your access data and go to the "Remove all imported contacts" link using the following link.
- Left-click the blue "Remove" button here to delete all of your imported contacts.
Delete selected imported contacts
- If you want, you can only delete selected imported contacts. To do this, first log in to Facebook with your access data.
- Use the direct link to the subpage "Management of invitations and imported contacts".
- Under the "Sent invitations" list, you can search for individual contacts in the menu and remove them at any time using "Delete selected".
You can also use the "Sort by:" bar to sort your imported contacts by "Recipient", "Joined", "Not yet joined" and "Date of submission".
