Facebook: censor names on screenshots
Censoring the names protects personal rights and secures them legally.
- A screenshot is made quickly with the "Print" or "Prt" button. This then ends up in the clipboard. You can find more options and step-by-step instructions in this practical tip.
- The drawing program "Paint" is already preinstalled on Windows. If you don't find it, press the "Windows" and "R" keys at the same time and enter the "mspaint" command.
- Once you have started Paint, you can paste the image from the clipboard using the key combination "Ctrl" + "V".
- If desired, you can use the "Select" function above to cut out the desired area of the screenshot with the mouse and then insert it into a new project.
- To censor the names, select the "Select" option again and use it to mark the first name. If you then press the "Delete" key, the name will be cut out completely.
- Alternatively, you can only slightly alienate the names. To do this, select the square under "Shapes". Under "Fill" select for example "Oil color" and then the white color on the right. Now you can drag a slightly transparent field over the name.
