Facebook: verify page or profile - how it works
If you or your company has an official page or profile on the social network Facebook, you can verify it. Only a few steps are necessary, as we show you in this practical tip.
Verify page or profile on Facebook - you have to do that
- First click on "Settings" on the top of your page.
- Under "General" select the entry "Page confirmation". Afterwards you have to click on "Confirm your page"> Let's go.
- The next step is to enter the phone number of your company and choose the language and country. This phone number must be associated with your company.
- Facebook has to call you so that the page can be verified. To do this, click on "Call me now".
- You will then receive a verification code on the phone, which you must enter on the page and confirm with "Next".
- This information will then be checked by Facebook and within a few days you will receive an email with the current status of the verification.
