FaceTime for Windows - is there?

In this article, we explain whether FaceTime is now also available for Windows and present good alternatives.

FaceTime also usable under Windows?

FaceTime is part of Apple and can therefore also be used on these devices. However, since Windows belongs to Microsoft, FaceTime is at least not available for Windows.

• If you are interested in video telephony under Windows, you can use Skype. It is a free version of FaceTime, which has since been bought by Microsoft.
• Skype is available for both Windows 7 and Windows 8. Skype also usually runs without major problems on older operating systems.
• Other services are also AIM, Yahoo Messenger or MSN.
