Fallout 4: Assign work to settlers - how it works
If some of your settlers do not pursue any tasks in Fallout 4, you can assign specific tasks to the settlers. We'll show you how it's done.
Assign work to settlers in Fallout 4 - Here's how
- Find an unemployed settler, open the workshop menu and target him.
- Select the "Command" item below and select a work area. For example, if you choose "corn", your food resources will be replenished.
- The settlers can also be used, for example, as guards or administrators of shops.
- Tip: As an alternative to the following instructions, you can choose "Supply route" instead of "Command". The settler then travels back and forth between another settlement and can thus distribute the resources evenly. However, you need the "Local Leader" perk for this.
