Fallout 4: system requirements
You don't necessarily need a high-end PC for Fallout 4. We present the minimum system requirements and clarify which hardware you need to be able to enjoy the game smoothly.

- You definitely need Windows from version 7 as the operating system. The following applies: 64 bit in any case, outdated 32 bit versions are no longer supported. You should have at least 30 GB free on your hard drive and 8 GB RAM installed.
- The game developer Bethesda uses at least one GTX 550 Ti or graphics card. an AMD Radeon HD 7870, each with 2 GB video memory ahead. At slightly higher frame rates, however, it can also be a GTX 780 or an AMD Radeon R9 290X.
- For the processors, you should at least use an Intel Core i5-2300 (2.8 GHz) or an AMD Phenom II X4 945 with 3.0 GHz. With higher settings, the differences between Intel and AMD become larger. You should use a Core i7 4790 with 3.6 GHz or the AMD FX-9590 with 4.7 GHz.
