Folding technology: This way your chips stay crispy
It is worth closing the chip bags so that the chips do not become soft. With a special folding technique, you don't need any tools.
The ideal folding technique for chip bags
If you don't have a rubber band on hand, simply fold the bag together.
- Proceed as follows: Hold the bag at the top, open corners. Now shake briefly and gently place the chips in the lower area of the bag.
- Bend the bag very slightly and let the air out of the bag.
- Hit the outer, open corners a few centimeters inwards. Depending on the bag size, between four and six centimeters and press the corners flat into a triangle.
- Then fold in the top edge of the bag about one to two centimeters - this time on the opposite side of the folded corners. Repeat this folding over and over again. So they roll up the film and the air stays outside.
- Do not fold down too far. The folded corners of the back should remain free. They serve as a closure.
- If you have folded the bag up to about three to four centimeters above the corners, fold the corners over. To do this, grasp the rolled-up part from below and fold it back.
