In 2015, the publisher of the first part announced that there will be a successor called "Fantasy Life 2: Two Moons And The Village of God":
- Since then there have been several release dates, such as April 2017, all of which could not be met.
- In 2016 there was even a trailer and the name was changed to "Fantasy Life Online". The content of the game is said to differ so much that it should not be seen as a sequel.
- This fact also confirms that the game will no longer be offered on a Nintendo platform, but only for the smartphone. According to level 5, this is meant to appeal to adult players.
- The last tweet from the official Twitter account says that further improvements should be heard due to difficulties in the beta. The release date is therefore postponed to an indefinite point in 2017.
