Open your game menu with the tab key and click on "Online".
The spacebar takes you to your Uplay friends list, where you invite the person you want to play with.
The co-op in Far Cry New Dawn allows you to experience the story with a friend or explore the world in free play. If you play on the console, you need either an Xbox Live Gold or an active PS Plus membership.
- First complete the opening sequence. As soon as you arrive in Prosperity, the online options for your game will be unlocked.
- If you want to be the host of the game, invite your friend to your game. To do this, open the menu with the tab key and switch to the "Online" tab.
- Press the spacebar and select the person you want to play with from your friends list. You will then be the host of the co-op game.
- Note that story progress only takes place in the host's world. If you return to your world, you will lose discovered places, unlocked doors, liberated outposts, treasure hunts and base improvements.
- In addition, only the host can speak to NPCs or start missions.
- Note: Co-op mode is not cross-console. That means you cannot connect to Xbox or PS4 players as a PC player.
