The long-awaited release of Far Cry Primal for PC followed on March 1, 2016. This practical tip shows you whether your computer's system requirements are sufficient to play the open world survival game and all the details about the hardware and software requirements.
Far Cry Primal: system requirements and release
- Operating system: Far Cry Primal can be played in Windows 7, 8 and 10 in the 64-bit version.
- Processor: At least one Intel Core i3-550 or AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE (3.2 GHz) as CPU is recommended. For example, an Intel Core i7-2600K would be better.
- Graphics card: With a GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5770 you can display Far Cry Primal fluently. For all the details, however, you need a significantly better graphics card, such as the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780.
- RAM: You should have installed at least 4 GB in your PC. However, more RAM is recommended. Ubisoft specifies up to 8 GB of RAM.
- Hard disk: At least 20 GB of storage space is required for the open world game.
