An FCP file cannot be opened easily. This practical tip shows you how to proceed so that you can see the contents of the file.
Open FCP file - you need it
The .fcp format is only supported by the "Final Cut Pro" program - which only runs on Mac OS.
- If you have a system with Mac OS, you can download "Final Cut Pro". However, the program costs 269.99 euros
- Otherwise, you need a friend who owns "Final Cut Pro". The latter can then play the file.
- So that you can view the video file under Windows, the FCP file must be exported with "Final Cut Pro" in .mov or .mpg format.
