Feedly app: set favorite tool to save
In the Feedly app, you can set your favorite tool for storing articles offline with just a few taps. Pocket is a variant of this. We'll show you how this works here.
Set favorite storage tool for Feedly items
Feedly is now a recognized and functional feed reader, but has no offline mode. For this purpose, it makes sense to define a favorite tool for later reading articles offline. To add quick access to your item view:
- Scroll all the way down in the Feedly side menu and select "Settings".
- In the settings, open the menu item "Favorite Saving Tool".
- Finally, you can select Pocket or Instapaper in the pop-up menu.
- From now on, the pocket symbol will appear in an article next to the overflow menu.
- With one finger, you can save an article offline in Pocket and read it later without an internet connection.
If you don't like the article view in the Feedly stream, you can change it in a few simple steps. In another practical tip, we will show you how it works.
