- Open Windows Search and look for "Command Prompt".

- Enter "dism.exe / online / cleanup-image / scanhealth" in the opened command prompt and press [Enter]. You can also copy & paste the command to avoid typing errors.
- After the command has been executed, you have to enter "dism.exe / online / cleanup-image / restorehealth" and confirm again with [Enter].
- With some damage, this command unfortunately no longer works. You will then need to use another repair source, such as a flawless Windows installation or the Windows DVD. To do this, use the following command: "dism.exe / Online / Cleanup-Image / RestoreHealth / Source: C: \ RepairSource \ Windows / LimitAccess". - Now run the "sfc / scannow" command.
- Finally, type "exit" and press [Enter] to close the command prompt.
